As a musician, there's nothing quite like the experience of performing live. The synergy between the audience, the music, and the theme of the atmosphere creates an electric energy.

In a private, art-filled Seattle residence on the shores of Lake Union I found myself performing both traditional classical and neo-classical selections to complement the pairings of the newest vintage release by Dom Perignon.

Bubbly selections by Bach, Mozart and Haydn juxtaposed with "November" by Max Richter made for a moving and immersive experience from ears to palate.

I was pleasantly surprised to learn that Dom Perignon pairs their champagne not only with food, but also with times of the day. After the dinner pairing, the group made their way to the balcony where they uncorked their latest vintage release to a curated collection of connoisseurs, accompanied by "November" on the violin.

As the evening progressed and the sun set, star gazing by the lake was paired with yet another variety.
