Instagram-worthy, Travel-Blogger Influencer Wedding

I just love our beautiful Pacific Northwest!

Having been born and raised in Washington, some of the beauty that we get to behold every day may start to become common place or taken for granted. In 2021, I toured much of the United States which really threw into perspective the jaw-dropping landscape that the PNW offers, and my appreciation for the mountains, foothills, and diverse forests only grew.

But more than me, and many others on this planet, weighs the opinion of a couple who has literally traveled the world together. These two love birds decided that they would have two weddings - one in the Philippines (where our beautiful bride was born) and one in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains in Washington State.

If you have ever watched a travel vlog on YouTube, you've probably heard of Drew Binsky. He and his bride Deanna posted the footage from their Filipino wedding on his YouTube channel (you can watch it here) and when I was contacted to play for their PNW wedding I actually used their first wedding as a jumping-off point of inspiration for their song selections!

With input and approval from Deanna, I finalized their setlist and created a personal song list that touched on their history as a couple, their cultures, and of course some of their favorite musical artists!

A Prelude of selections ranging from Filipino to Pop (think Dan + Shay, Taylor Swift and Regine Velasquez) set the tone as guests arrived and got settled in the ceremony space. Deanna floated down the aisle to a gorgeous classical version of "A Thousand Years" by Christina Perri, and after a celebratory "Hava Nagila" the newlyweds (again!) danced their way back up the aisle together to "Sky Full of Stars".
