Accessibility
I want every guest at your event to be able to hear, see, and take part in the music, and I want this website to be usable by everyone who visits it.
Working with me
I perform at weddings and private events across Croatia, most often in venues I don't own or control. Within that, here's what I can do:
-
Talk it through in advance. My planning process includes a discovery call, and accessibility needs are a welcome part of that conversation. If a guest is hard of hearing, uses a wheelchair, is sensitive to sound levels, or has any other need that affects how the music should work, tell me and we'll plan around it.
-
Adjust placement and volume. Where I stand, how loud I play, and how I'm amplified can all be adapted — for example, positioning closer to guests who are hard of hearing, or keeping volume moderate for guests sensitive to sound.
-
Provide the program in advance and in writing. If it helps a guest to know what's coming and when, I can share the musical program ahead of the day in a clear, readable format.
-
Communicate in whatever form works. Email, phone, video call, or written summaries after our conversations — whichever is easiest for you.
What I can't control
Venues, ceremony sites, and physical access to event locations are chosen and managed by you and your venue, not by me. I'm glad to coordinate with your planner or venue about where I set up so it works for all your guests, but I can't make a venue accessible that isn't.
I also don't currently offer sign language interpretation. Since lyrics are commonly removed from the instrumental music I perform, it is likely not necessary for your event if we are working together. However, if it's needed for your event, your planner or venue can arrange it, and I'll coordinate with the interpreter on timing and placement.
This website
I've built and continue to maintain this site with accessibility in mind, including descriptive text for images, clear navigation, readable text sizes, and sufficient color contrast. It's an ongoing effort rather than a finished state, so if you run into something on this site that doesn't work for you, I'd genuinely like to know.
